Adewale Ajala, DW FFSD Coordinator, TEP, Nigeria

Adewale got a degree in Petroleum Engineering after completing his City and Guild Level 4 Certificate in Production Technology with Mobil Technical Training Centre Nigeria and National Diploma in Petroleum Engineering from Petroleum Training Institute Nigeria.

He started his Oil and Gas Career in 2005 as Process Technician 1. Adewale joined Total E&P Nigeria Limited as Chief Production Operator, in 2006, in Odudu Production Platform, OML100. He grew in his career, in OML 100, from Chief Production Operator to Head of Production (HOP), in 2015, ensuring safe production operation with his team.

In September 2015, he was transferred to AKPO FPSO, as Head Of Production, in which he was responsible for daily supervising and coordinating of group of production operators and supervisors, to ensure safe and effective monitoring and optimization of daily production.

In December 2017, he was transferred Onshore, DW FOPS, as DW FFSD Coordinator, in which his responsibility includes coordination of preparation and execution of AKPO 2018 FFSD, ensuring FFSD activities are done, as per scope, within budget and time frame. One of the major activities executed includes replacement of 2 Gas Export Compressor Coolers, leading to closure of one of AKPO FPSO Major Integrity Threats.

In January 2019, he was nominated as AKPO OPERSAFE Coordinator, to coordinate 2019 AKPO FPSO OPERSAFE Audit.
