David Campion, Manager of digital innovation studies
David Campion holds a degree from the Arts et Métiers engineering school. He showed an early interest in innovation, writing his final dissertation on the industrialization of a creativity software. After a first experience working as a consultant in the United Kingdom, David joined the Total group in 2007 and was appointed Mobility Project Manager. He was in charge of managing projects designed to improve employee mobility (smartphones, email services, discipline-specific applications, etc.), before moving on to collaborative tools for E&P in 2011. David worked two years for Total E&P Indonesia where he managed and coordinated complex projects for the infrastructure and telecoms perimeters. Back in France in 2015, he joined the Data Analytics Competence Center (DACC), where he is in charge of machine learning, neural networks and other artificial intelligence tools. In his free time, David writes science-fiction books and is a freelance furniture designer.
