David Foulon, Vice President Subsurface, Total E&P USA

 

David Foulon is a general engineer from the Ecole des Mines engineering school. After joining the Group in 2000, David's work progressively evolved from production optimization on the platforms of the ABK field in the United Arab Emirates, to the management of a team of 70 geoscientists and an annual budget of 300 million dollars on the Petrocedeno field in Venezuela. In 2015, David Foulon was entrusted the leadership of all of Total E&P USA's geoscience efforts, as Vice President Subsurface.

 

 

Projects

 

  • David is currently enrolled in an MBA for experienced managers at Stanford University, California. He is focusing on two key themes this year: venture capital in the field of energy and artificial intelligence.

  • Member of the SPE, of the Houston Geologist Society and of the World Affairs Council.

  • David Foulon has published 14 articles since 2003, mostly for the SPE.
