David Nevicato, CCUS Transverse Research Program Manager

After finishing his master’s degree at the ENSIC chemical engineering school, David went on to obtain a PhD in chemical engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

He joined Total in 1995 as a research engineer at the Solaize research center, continuing his career in Refining & Chemicals until 2016. He started with operational positions at the Donges and Grandpuits refineries before transitioning to skills and technical training management, first at headquarters and then at OLEUM within Flanders facility. He subsequently came back as Research Delegate at Raffinage Chimie in Feluy.

In 2016, David joined Corporate R&D to manage the transverse Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) research program.
