Didier Plisson - Head of the Brazil OBO integrated development study team (GEDI)

After graduating with an MSc in Petroleum Engineering and another in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Didier Plisson joined the French Navy for a spell before moving on to Perenco, where he worked between 1996 and 2002 as Offshore Installation Manager in Gabon, then Operation manager in Congo and two years as Petroleum engineer.

After working as Project Coordinator on the Kharyaga Phase 2 Project in Russia, he joined Total in 2004 to work on the Ofon2 offshore Project: first, as FEED manager in Norway, then as Production and Support Facilities Packages Manager for the Project in Nigeria. Finally, he was appointed Ofon2 Project Director in 2010.

In 2012, he joined the Development Engineering division as architect. In 2015, he was appointed Head of the Development Engineering group for Brazilian fields, namely Libra, Iara, Gato do Mato and various exploration blocks. The GEDI is part of the Deep Water product line since 2017.
