Gabin Delannay


Gabin Delannay - Gas & LNG Technical Department Manager

Gabin is an alumnus of the ENSIACET graduate school of chemistry science and engineering in Toulouse, France. He joined Total Exploration & Production in 1999 as a process engineer. Based first in Norway and then Paris, he performed process design in a variety of areas, including water treatment, subsea, conventional offshore, onshore and heavy oil. He also spent three years working on the start-up of the Dorood project in Iran.

He began working in LNG when he joined the Shtokman project in 2008. In 2012, he was appointed manager of production support operations for Total’s gas fields in the Netherlands.

Since 2016, Gabin has led the Gas & LNG Technical Department in Gas, Renewables & Power (GRP). He is responsible for infrastructure development design for gas projects, evaluating LNG infrastructures and providing technical monitoring for some gas assets. In this capacity, he represents Total in the International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL).
