Total’s operations in China date back more than 35 years and cover its full business spectrum. At the 2019 IPTC in Beijing, all of our projects showcased at the booth are guided by our values and the commitment of our 100,000 employees to a better energy that is safer, more affordable, cleaner and accessible to as many people as possible.
The Total IPTC booth will showcase technological innovations such as METIS, our disruptive R&D project for the acquisition of seismic data with eco-friendly sensors (DARTs); and Dynamic Analogues, a multi-scale geology project dedicated to deliver more reliable production profiles and reduce the associated uncertainties.
Our booth will also showcase our expertise in unconventional resources, LNG and deep offshore with the Moho Nord project (shortlisted for the IPTC Excellence in Project Integration Award), Total’s second production hub in the deep waters of Congo.
Also on display: the Real-Time Support Center (RTSC), our smart room that is designed to reduce operational risks and improve the performance of Total-operated drilling rigs, using innovative digital applications and providing real-time monitoring & engineering support to subsidiaries on a 24/7 basis.
