Jacques Miné, Senior Environmental Advisor

Jacques received a double Engineer’s degree in Geology from ENSG (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie) and ENSPM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs), as well as a Master’s degree in Economy and Management from the INPL (Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine).

He joined the Group in 1985, his first appointments being as a geologist engineer, with an overseas placement in Gabon between 1988 and 1992. He was then nominated as Section Head in Norway in 1996. He then joined the E&P Environment division in 2001. After two first positions as environment engineer, where he was in charge of baselines studies and environmental impact assessments (EIA), he then became head of service in 2008.

His current position is Senior Environmental Advisor, where he is in charge of the follow-up of environmental regulations, both on French and European levels. He is also Vice-chairman of the IOGP Environmental Committee and Executive Member of the Board of SPE France.
