Jacques Monne - Head of the HSE and Technical Projects Department (ADNOC)

Jacques received his training in petroleum engineering at ENSIC (École nationale supérieure des industries chimique) in Nancy. He joined the Exploration & Production (E&P) branch of the Total Group in 1997, after working for ten years in the petrochemical sector and in refining at Shell.

Over the course of his career he has occupied a diverse range of positions in petroleum operations, covering the areas of facilities, industrial safety and research and development (R&D), and has worked in several different countries: France, Indonesia, Libya and Yemen. Most notably, he was in charge of commissioning the Yemen LNG plant, managed the CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage) pilot CO2 research project in Lacq, and was Health Safety and Environment Director for Total Exploration & Production Libya.

Jacques  has then led the Exploration & Production Safety Engineering department, working to develop engineering safety rules for FPSO floating structures. He is now Head of the HSE and Technical Projects Department (ADNOC).
