Jean-Philippe Grué - Global DWE (Drilling Well Equipment) Category Manager

After graduating in Supply Chain Management from ESCEM Business School), Jean-Philippe Grué began his professional career as a supply chain project leader for French company Mars in 2003.

After working at Capgemini, he then joined Total in 2008 as Material Management Manager, where he provided assistance in this area to E&P affiliates and projects. He then held positions as a contract lead in Norway, where he was in charge of contract management for the Martin Linge and Solaris drilling projects, and in in Egypt as Contracts & Procurement Manager, working in particular on an HP/HT offshore drilling project.

Jean-Philippe has been Global Drilling Well Equipment (DWE) Category Manager since 2017. He is responsible for defining, implementing and updating procurement strategy for the category, which comprises four segments: Wellhead, Conductor Pipes and Surface Casings, oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and Liner Hangers.

One of his key achievements is the Total Exploration Stock (T-ExS) project, for which he was in charge of the contractual and commercial strategy, global inventory management and the contract execution.
