Jérôme Long, Petroleum Engineer

After graduating with a degree in civil engineering from ENSMN mining school in Nancy, France, and in petroleum engineering from the IFP School, Jérôme began his career at Total in 2005 as a SCAL engineer, where he was responsible for designing experiments performed under reservoir conditions to characterize recovery mechanisms.

After ten years in reservoir engineering with positions in Angola, France and Libya, Jérome has recently specialized in production performance engineering. During his time as a well performance engineer in 2014 and 2015, he performed advanced well performance studies for affiliates and projects. His is currently Production Performance Manager in the Republic of the Congo, where he manages the Well Performance, Production Reporting and Well Integrity teams.
