The Marine, Construction & Engineering Deepwater Development (MCEDD) is an international conference hosted once a year by an European country, addressing technical issues related to engineering, development, production of oil and gas in deep and ultra-deepwater areas throughout the world. In today’s challenging environment, it is even more critical to share our experiences to improve the quality, safety, and vital economics to the future of this particular sector.
This year, from April, 9th to April 11th, in Milan, Italy, the MCEDD conference will gather 80 speakers in some 20 technical sessions and interactive debates. As a deep offshore pioneer and leading operator among peers, Total sponsors the event and participates in several round tables regarding the deep offshore developments seen by operators, the drilling and wells completion, the flow assurance and pipelines. On April 10th, at 2 p.m, Benoît Ludot, Total's Deep Offshore VP will be keynote speaker at a special session: "The future, beyond today, for ultra-deep offshore, ultra-harsh metocean environments through achievements in cost reductions, in both Drilling CAPEX & OPEX".
