Morten Hesselager Pedersen - Vice President and Head of the Tyra Redevelopment

Morten joined Maersk Oil in 1997 as a well site engineer and spent his first four years offshore on drilling rigs and stimulation vessels. In 2002, he transferred to Qatar and spent most of the next eight years working on the Al-Shaheen Field as a reservoir engineer.

In 2010, Morten moved to Houston as Project Manager, Non-Operated Deepwater Assets in the Gulf of Mexico. After two years in the United States, he returned to Qatar and was appointed Project Manager, Field Development Plan (FDP) 2012, a $1.5 billion project comprising around 50 development wells, pipeline installation and various facility modification scopes.

Most recently, Morten has worked at Total Exploration & Production Denmark, initially as Asset Manager for the Tyra Asset and currently as Vice President and Head of the Tyra Redevelopment.
