Seth Stoner, Senior Deepwater Drilling & Completion Supervisor (deepwater/harsh environment)


Seth is the holder of a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Edmonton, Canada. He joined Total E&P Canada in 2006 as Drilling Supervisor/Responsible for Safety and Environment on Site, prior becoming Drilling Superintendant in 2008. He also held the position of Night Drilling Supervisor for Total E&P Indonesia. Between 2011 and 2014, he joined Total E&P Angola as Senior Deepwater Drilling & Completion Supervisor on dynamically positioned drill ship (D3P) offshore Angola (Block 17/Block 32). Seth then worked for Total E&P U.K between 2014 and 2017 as Drilling & Completion Senior Supervisor on several development projects (Laggan-Tormore, Edradour, and Glenlivet). He has been detached for 4 months in Total E&P PNG (Papua New Guinea). Since August 2017, Seth has been working as Drilling & Completion Senior Supervisor at Total E&P Ivory Coast.
