Thomas Merzi, Ecotoxicology Engineer
After completing a master’s degree in biodiversity, ecology and environment at the University of Grenoble in 2007, Thomas Merzi joined Total for an internship as a quality engineer on the Lacq site.
This was followed by an international volunteer experience as an environmental engineer in Indonesia from 2008 to 2010.
Thomas was then appointed environmental engineer in Angola, where he was first in charge of regulatory aspects and later operations. Back in France since 2013, Thomas is now ecotoxicology expert for the Group’s E&P affiliates.
